For the past 11 summers, Credo has attracted the finest faculty and students from around the world to participate in our summer chamber music festival.
At Credo, students and professional faculty engage in an extraordinarily high level of music making, while also developing their role as servant leaders. They do all of this while having immense amounts of fun interacting with likeminded peers.
This year, SMI-Credo (www.smi-credo.org) has expanded
the Credo concept and reach by presenting Credo Days
from coast to coast, including our first annual Credo Day
Boston, an intensive day involving study, performance,
worship, and service. Come join the fun!
It is all happening at Gordon College in Wenham, MA.
Credo Day Boston is open to all string players ages 12-23.
The entire event, which includes two meals, master classes,
and an exceptional concert, is FREE to you!
Space will be limited. You will want to respond ASAP to
save your space.

Who are our Clinicians?
PETER SLOWIK, Credo’s Artistic Director, is Professor of Viola and String Division Director at the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music. He has been a featured performer at five International Viola Congresses, and recent performing and teaching trips have taken him to China, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. He has performed with the Vermeer and St. Petersburg Quartets, cellists Leonard Rose and Anner Bylsma. His students may be found in the country’s leading orchestras and in significant university appointments.
The Credo Trio As the touring ensemble of Credo, the Credo Trio is committed to presenting exciting, probing performances of the classical piano trio repertoire. The core of their repertoire is the magnificent classical piano trio canon, but their virtuosity and flexibility allows them to step into other genres to present a wide variety of programs to stimulate and delight to diverse audiences. In its inaugural year, the Trio has performing engagements from New York to Los Angeles. The trio is intent on supplementing their performance schedule with education and outreach activities including lessons, chamber music coaching, and master classes.
